Have you seen one of those videos or heard a friend mention “whipped coffee”? If so, you’re not alone. I feel into the rabbit hole and started watching videos of people making this beautiful whipped coffee. I’m a coffee fanatic so, you guessed it, I decided to try it out myself!
It actually reminds me of a fancy iced coffee I may have bought at a coffeehouse once upon a time ago when coffee houses were open. But this saves me some money and time by being able to whip it up at home and see the ingredients I’m putting in it!
All the recipes I have seen are equal parts instant coffee, sugar, & boiling water. Learn from my mistake, if you’re using a KitchenAid to mix it, don’t use less than 2TBSP of each. I was trying to use less sugar and I guess the whipped attachment is too big for such a small amount of ingredients. This is SUPER sweet for me so I don’t usually drink it all at one time or it gives me a stomach ache.
Also, I know this isn’t my typical recipe post. I definitely only drink this on occasion due to the sugar content in it. <3 Enjoy!
Whipped Coffee
- 2 TBSP Organic Instant Coffee
- 2 TBSP Boiling Water
- 2 TBSP Organic Raw Sugar
- Unsweetened and Unflavored Oat Milk (we love Oatly!)
- Ice Cubes
Add the first three ingredients into your blender. Blend for 3 minutes. You’ll know it’s good when it gets the consistency of whipped cream and goes from dark brown to light brown. Throw your ice cubes in a glass then mix equal parts oat milk to whipped coffee. Stir together and voila! Sugary deliciousness.
Make sure to pin this guy so you have it for later too!
