Do you find yourself frustrated because toilet paper is usually double wrapped in plastic? When looking for a plastic free toilet paper option, I knew that ‘family cloth’ (similar to UN paper towels but used for toilet paper) wasn’t going to be an option. Although we cloth diaper, I found myself dropping or spraying too many cloth wipes into the toilet so knew I wasn’t going to deal with that for cloth toilet paper. As most do in this day and age, I went to Google and found Who Gives A Crap.

Who’s Who Gives A Crap?
This company was started when a group of friends stumbled upon the fact that 289,000 children die each year from diarrheal diseases due to poor sanitation. With each purchase made, 50% of the profits go to helping a community build toilets. I know someone has some poo jokes out there, but it really adds up!
They also wanted to make sure no trees were harmed in the making of their products. They offer recycled toilet paper & bamboo toilet paper, tissues, & paper towels. All of these products come without the plastic wrappings and are delivered straight to your door!
The Problem With Toilet Paper
America has an obsession with ‘luxury’, 3-ply toilet paper. I was 100% guilty of this & honestly didn’t noticed it until we moved out of the US. I started researching about the environmental impact because I wanted a plastic free toilet paper option. As I looked, I found out that Americans extra soft toilet paper comes with a price tag the Earth is paying for.
Virgin trees usually make toilet paper, which can be worse for the environment than driving a Hummer. This is occurring closer to home than I realized too. 28 million acres of Canadian forest have been chopped down for the sake of something that gets used for 3 seconds then flushed down the toilet.
Cue Who Gives A Crap
My desire for plastic free toilet paper had me eagerly buying my first package from them. I bought the smaller box size for the recycled paper. When it arrived, the packaging had cute facts and we even used it to wrap and stuff packages we were sending home.
I was impressed with the recycled toilet paper and wanted to try the bamboo. Once again, I was super impressed! I loved it even more than the recycled toilet paper. We ordered the 48 roll box in November and still have a few rolls left!
Try it today and get $10 off! We are definitely fans & loved it so much we are want to share it with you.
