This pumpkin pie melt and pour soap makes soap making easy.  If you find soap making to be overly complicated at this stage in the game, this is the way to go. Melt and pour soap bases are something I recently discovered and have become obsessed with! I found Florida based company Our Earth’s Secrets who makes their melt and pour soap bases in the USA. They’re easy to cut up so you can melt them, add your essential oils or spices, then pour them into a mold. Let them set for a few hours and then you’re good to go!

These melt and pour soap bases come in a variety of ingredients:

  • Goat’s Milk
  • Coconut Milk
  • Shea Butter
  • Clear Glycerin
  • Castile
  • Cocoa Butter
  • Hemp Seed Oil

…just to name a few.

A few things to have on hand would be a spatula, soap base (something you can push your soap out of so no glass), and an apron in case you spill anything.

Don’t like pumpkin soap?

If you’re not one to love pumpkin spice, then you can certainly try other scents! You could making these blends:

  • Coffee and Vanilla
  • Sweet Orange and Cinnamon
  • Ginger, Sweet Orange, and Patchouli

Tips to help your pumpkin pie soap last longer

Using my more naturally based soaps means that you don’t want them to sit directly in water or your shower edge. Your pumpkin pie soap needs to be able to dry out completely between uses.

Look for a slotted soap holder or a soap saver. We’ve had our soap savers since 2016 and they’re still going strong. I soak them or throw them in the dishwasher periodically to clean them.
