Why is there no lye to make this soap?
The benefit of using a melt and pour soap base is you do not have to worry about the chemical process of making the soap nor do you have to use lye! Melt and pour bases make soap making quite easy.
How do I get my bar to last longer?
Do not allow your bar of soap to sit in water. For best results, allow it to sit on a soap dish that has holes to drain the water from underneath the soap between uses.

- Double Boiler Set Up (I use a large pot wit some water on the bottom then place a smaller pot inside. Alternatively, you can use a larger pot then place a glass bowl over it)
